PLAZACARRISI Hotel & SPA, located in Cellino San Marco, in the heart of Salento, is an old residence of the 1700s, silent sentinel in an ancient square. It preserves inside a large amount of valuable information of lives spent in a distant time.

The love for the history, for the beautiful things of value, the love for the territory pushed Franco Carrisi to buy this splendid stately palace in 2012 that belonged to the Prete Valletta family. Franco Carrisi, a lover of challenges, decides together with his family to transform this wonderful piece of history into a receptive structure, a "widespread hotel", committing himself to the recovery and enhancement of this prestigious building located in the historic center of the city.

Giving emotions has always been their greatest goal and so, an ambitious reconstruction project has started. Ancient stone walls covered with a mixture of red earth, straw and lime were found in the rooms on the ground floor. Each room tells a story, full of memories and emotions. Refined furnishings, fine fabrics and finishes give a suggestive atmosphere! It is here that small niches emerge, enchanting hidden corners, secret stairs, splendid barrel, carriage and star vaults, now converted into original and independent lodgings, exclusive and unique jewels, obtained from the old stables or recovered from the rooms where they stayed servants, millers, coachmen, located within the vast alley.

A superb staircase leads to the upper floor where the large master bedrooms return to their original splendor and open to the public in all their elegance and brightness!

An internal garden, an ancient vico, an elegant meeting room and a magnificent Welness SPA with Hammam cave, obtained in the oldest nucleus of the palace frame.
